How do you fill and seal a cremation jewelry pendant?
Sealant is not necessary as all of our precious metal cremation jewelry pendants and rings have a black rubber gasket on the threaded screw making them air and water tight.
Please note that we do provide sealant for the stainless steel cremation jewelry line and the sealant will dry quickly. If it dries before rethreading, it will not thread properly. If this occurs, soak the screw in acetone (fingernail polish remover) to remove the sealant and try again. We recommend waiting 24 hours before wearing your pendant to ensure the pendant has been completely sealed.

Are your dog tags standard military size?
No, we carry several various sizes.
Our largest size is the 4010 XL Dog Tag that is 25 mm x 45 mm or approximately 1" x 1.75".
How do I submit files for personalized jewelry or urns?
Upload files during the order process or place order, then reply to the order confirmation email and attach files.
Can I return my engraved jewelry pendant or urn?
Engraved items, custom orders including fingerprint jewelry, and 14K solid gold and platinum cannot be returned or refunded because they cannot be re-stocked. Please note: solid gold & platinum are special order items that take approximately 4-5 weeks and cannot be cancelled or returned.
How long will it take to engrave and ship my order?
Depending on the volume of engraving orders, generally 1-2 business days for an item to be completed, an additional 1-3 business days if a proof is required. Photo engraving may take 1-2 business days. Many pieces, however, are engraved on the same day they are ordered. We do same day engraving and shipping on expedited orders. If you need your item to arrive by a certain date, simply let us know.
Why did the engraving form field cut me off before I finished typing my entire engraving order?
Due to size and engravable area, each piece is different in the number of characters it can hold. While we encourage families to keep to the character limit for the sake of legibility (the more characters, the smaller the font), sometimes additional characters can be added if the font size is decreased but may be harder to read, this is especially true for jewelry. We are happy to work with you to create the memorial that most reflects your wishes. Please feel free to contact us for suggestions and advice.

Can you engrave a signature? A doodle? A drawing?
Yes, we can! For some families, nothing is more personal than something done in their loved one’s own hand. We do have the ability to duplicate and engrave simple drawings and signatures on jewelry and urns depending on style. Please contact us for more information and pricing.
Can you engrave a heart/star/peace sign on my jewelry order?
Below you will find some common symbols that can be engraved on to jewelry and urns. Since jewelry is small, the symbols are simple outlines. If you have something in mind that you don’t see here, please contact us for information on customized engraving.
What clip art can you engrave on cremation urns?
Cremation urns are larger and have space for more detailed type clip art than jewelry. We can engrave more clip art, drawings, handwritten notes, hand prints, foot prints and even photos depending on urn material. Below are just a few examples of clip art that we can do. Contact us if you have something else in mind for your special engraving.

If you choose to add an engraving we will follow what you input- line by line, word for word. If you want all capital letters- type in all capital letters in the field (Please note: Script font is hard to read in all capital letters). Please proof-read carefully before submitting your order. Overall, customers are very satisfied with the engravings without a proof. However, we do offer a proof for an additional fee which includes 1 proof via email. If you would like further changes; additional proofing fees will apply. If your product does not include a proof option, simply add the proof product to your cart in addition to the product that is to be engraved.

- Locate the pendant opening. Depending on the piece, this can be the bail itself (the loop that the chain goes through) or a small, square screw somewhere on the pendant.
- Using the screwdriver we provide, unscrew the pendant and place the provided funnel into the opening.
- Fill the pendant about 90% full, making sure to leave room to replace the screw. A toothpick can help guide the remains into the opening.
- When replacing the screw pay close attention to the position of the bail, so the pendant will hang correctly when restrung on the chain or cord.

- For pet paw or nose prints & handwriting- take a high resolution digital photo (cell phone works if high res), fill the screen as much as possible without being blurry or cropping out part of subject.
- For photos (portraits) use a high resolution digital photo that has good exposure and focus.
